Sarnia Friendship Centre logo

The Sarnia-Lambton Native Friendship Centre (SLNFC) was incorporated on November 1, 2007 and became a member of the Ontario Federation of Indigenous Friendship Centres (OFIFC) on October 24, 2009. 

The centre’s founding directors are Adele Altiman, Kelly Kiyoshk, Summer Maness, Toni Murphy, Stacey Nahdee, Stephen Plain, Nadine Riley, Jonas Smith, and Vicki Ware.

The Sarnia-Lambton Native Friendship Centre is one of the OFIFC’s newest members to come aboard and has been core funded since January 2009. “Nwiijkewasag” Little Friend’s Child & Family Development Centre opened on February 9, 2009. Ska:na Family Learning Centre became the “Aboriginal operator” of the Little Friends Day Care on January 1, 2011.
