The Dryden Native Friendship Centre (DNFC) was incorporated on November 13, 1984 and became a member of the Ontario Federation of Indigenous Friendship Centres (OFIFC) on October 22, 1988.
The centre’s founding directors are Ken Denby, Robert Nabish, Clarence H. Pollard, Randy Kreiger, Robert Nelson, Joan Parenteau, Janice Mitchell, David Kelly Cormack, Archie Larry St. Goddard, Andrea L. Pietilanen, and Sharon Sapay.
